The slaughter portion of the facility has been temporarily closed while cutting operations continue.” Read the full update below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The CCA has answered a variety of important questions regarding the commercial shipment of cattle across the Canada-US border in the document below and has issued the following statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Transporters should follow all directives issued by their local, provincial and\/or federal public health organization, and follow the latest Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Covid-19 updates available on the websites of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and CFIA.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yesterday, the Government of Saskatchewan declared a State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is essential that we each do our part to minimize the risk of any possible transmission in the communities where we live and work.
