SK Livestock Finance Co-operative Ltd. provides affordable financing for livestock to our members across the province of Saskatchewan. We are a member owned Co-operative that is striving to grow the livestock industry in the Province of Saskatchewan.
In keeping with our philosophy, SK Livestock Finance Co-operative would like to offer a scholarship to a qualifying post-secondary student in agriculture or an agricultural related field.
SK Livestock Finance Co-operative Ltd. wishes to support the future generations in attaining their goals and pursuing their passions in the agricultural industry.
Available Scholarships
We are awarding three (3) $1,000 scholarships in total for the 2026 academic year*
Eligibility & Criteria
We are looking for well-rounded students who exemplify SKLF values. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee and ranked across five key categories:
- Community Volunteerism
- Scholastic & Extracurricular Activities
- Academic Performance
- School & Community Endorsements
- Agricultural Engagement
General Application Requirements:
- Applicants must be current Grade 12 students graduating in Summer 2026.
- Applicants must plan to attend a post-secondary institution in the Fall of 2026 in agriculture or an agricultural related field.
- Applicant, parents or grandparents must be an active, in good standing SKLF member.

- Applicants must reside in province of Saskatchewan.
Note: Members of the Executive Leadership Team, as well as their children and grandchildren, are ineligible to apply.
Application Checklist
To complete your application, please ensure you have the following ready:
- Minimum of (1) Letter of Recommendation: One endorsement from a school administrator or one endorsement from a volunteer organization or community group.
- Official High School Transcript: Your most recent high school academic record.
- Summary of Activities/Essay: An essay summarizing your connection to agriculture/livestock industry & why you feel you would qualify for this scholarship plus your volunteer work and extracurricular activities.
- Statement of Accuracy: This is available in the attachment section below.
- Graduation Photo: This is optional at the time of application but is required before payment of the award.
