T.J. (Terry) Wensley | CEO
Terry joins SKLF as the General Manager and brings over 25 years of senior management experience within the Canadian co-operative system. He most recently was a Senior Manager with a National co-operative based Bank and directed their Specialty Finance & Commercial Equipment division. He holds his Fellows Designation through the Credit Union Institute of Canada and has a Business Administration degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Terry lives in Regina with his wife and daughter. He grew up on a farm outside of Saskatoon where they ran a mixed farm operation which also included dairy, along with cow-calf and grain operations. Terry is very proud of his rural farm background and looks forward to leading SKLF into the future where he can combine his two passions of agriculture and finance.

Keri Kotyk | Operations Manager
Keri comes to SKLF with considerable experience in loan management and the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock Loan Guarantee Program. She worked in various banking roles at BMO Bank of Montreal for over 36 years. During her time with BMO, she had the opportunity to work with the 22 Loan Guarantee Program Associations who banked with BMO, as she was responsible for the loan administration within the bank. Keri currently lives in Regina and is working out of SKLF’s head office.

Bernardine Nelson | Regional Secretary
Bernardine has spent the majority of her career in administration and bookkeeping capacities. In addition to providing bookkeeping services to a couple of local farms, she has been the secretary for Big Country Co-operative Ltd. since 2017. Bernardine currently lives on a farm near Crane Valley and is the Regional Secretary responsible for the South West region of the province. Outside of work she enjoys reading, photography, golf, fishing, traveling and making jewelry.

Brenda Pollard | Regional Secretary
Brenda Pollard joined the team after serving as secretary for Parkdale Feeder/Breeder Coop Ltd since February 2018. She has been a member of 4-H, was raised on a dairy farm, raised Charolais cross cattle until 2012 and has had a small herd of Dexter cattle since 1995 with her husband, John. She just retired from 30 years of driving a school bus and, in addition to working with SKLF, is currently employed as an educational assistant at the Edam school. Outside of work she enjoys camping and spending time with her eight grandchildren.  

Deb Petersen | Regional Secretary
Deb has been the secretary/treasurer for the Southern Cattleman’s Co-operative Ltd. for the past seven years and was the secretary for the Yellowstone Feeders Co-operative for two years before it merged with the Southern Cattleman’s Co-operative. She has experience and training in bookkeeping, has completed the H&R Block tax course and has been doing taxes for the past several years. She has been involved with SKLF since January 2019 and served as a board member until being hired as the Regional Secretary responsible for the South East region. Deb lives in Lake Alma and, in addition to working for SKLF, is the Postmaster for the Lake Alma Post Office.
